Who operates HayRatio
HayRatio is operated by Openverse Technology. This policy covers the HayRatio iPhone app and hayratio.com.
Data stored on your device
The iPhone app stores horse profiles, weight values or estimates, forage plan inputs and results, history, stall cards, notes, preferences, and entitlement cache locally on the device. The web calculators process entered values in the browser tab. The printable stall-card fields are not uploaded or saved by HayRatio.
When you deliberately export or share a PDF or JSON archive, Apple’s share sheet and the destination you choose process that file. You control where it goes.
Product analytics
When a production analytics token is configured, HayRatio uses PostHog for limited, typed product events such as a page view, calculator start or completion, app-download CTA impression or click, onboarding completion, plan completion, paywall view, purchase status, restore completion, and return usage.
Analytics properties may include app or web version, operating system or browser, page path, general event context, unit choice, whether an optional cost was included, a broad planning-horizon category, referrer domain, safe UTM campaign fields, and pseudonymous installation or browser identifiers. PostHog may infer coarse country or region from the network connection.
HayRatio disables web autocapture, session recording, surveys, and person profiles. It does not send horse names, weights, measurements, target amounts, bale prices, notes, PDF contents, archive contents, file paths, typed stall-card values, email addresses, or advertising identifiers as analytics.
Purchases
Apple processes App Store payments and purchase account details. RevenueCat helps the app load localized products and determine whether the anonymous app user has the pro entitlement. Apple and RevenueCat may process product identifier, transaction status, purchase history, storefront, app-user identifier, device/app details, and diagnostics needed for purchase functionality and fraud prevention.
Website hosting and security
Cloudflare hosts hayratio.com and may process IP address, request URL, timestamp, browser and device information, and security signals in ordinary network and security logs. HayRatio uses those services to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the site.
Tracking, sale, and advertising
HayRatio does not use IDFA, cross-app advertising profiles, third-party ad networks, or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and deletion
Local app records remain until you delete them in the app or remove the app and its data. Web tool fields normally disappear when the page or tab is closed. Apple, RevenueCat, PostHog, and Cloudflare retain their provider-side records under their documented settings and legal obligations. Because HayRatio has no account and does not receive horse-plan content, we generally cannot retrieve or delete a specific local horse record for you.
Security and transfers
We use platform security, HTTPS, least-privilege configuration, and data minimization. No system can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process data in countries other than yours subject to their safeguards and applicable law.
Children
HayRatio is a general horse-management utility and is not directed to children for data collection. It has no account or social features. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through a support email, contact us.
